Neat Tips To Help You Lose Weight Without Making Drastic Changes

Weight Loss

Gaining weight usually sneaks up on you and then one day you realize you've gained too much weight and need to find a way to lose it without starving yourself. Here are some neat tips to help you lose weight without making drastic changes.

* Use smaller dinner plates. Use 7"-9" wide salad plates instead of the typical 10"-14". You most likely won't even notice the change and you'll consume less calories.

* Lose the white foods such as white bread, flour, and sugar.

* Use blue dishes. Studies have shown the color blue to be an appetite suppressant. Try a blue tablecloth as well.

* Have a bowl of broth based soup before dinner (avoid cream based soup).

* Make lunch your largest meal of the day.

* Don't eat dinner after 7:00 pm. The earlier you eat dinner, the better.

* Take a natural weight loss supplement that controls your appetite in the beginning of your weight loss journey to train yourself portion control.

* Wear a pedometer from the moment you get up until the moment you go to bed. Shoot for 10,000 steps.

* Drink filtered water with a squeeze of lemon all day long.

* Drink at least 4 cups of unsweetened green tea daily.

* Meals should consist of lean meat and loads of fresh vegetables and whole grains (brown rice).

* Get a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity every single day. Do something fun that you will actually enjoy and do.

* Find someone else who wants to lose weight and buddy-up.

* Take a picture of yourself and put it on the fridge. Take a new picture every two weeks until you've reached your goal.

* Have a 100 calorie bag of Curves popcorn handy when cravings for chips hit you.

* Dip your cut-up veggies in salsa instead of ranch.

* Read a healthy theme based magazine to motivate you.

* Weigh yourself every day, it will keep you on track and once you've lost the weight, continue to weigh daily so the weight doesn't sneak back on.
