Perhaps the Fastest Way to Lose Weight for Women Is

Weight Loss

Lets face it girl, your body is different from a mans. While men can practically sneeze and shed pounds you have to fight tooth and nail to drop a dress size.

It’s not fair. Or is it?

It is certainly true that generally men do lose weight faster than women; however the question you should ask yourself is why?

The answer is Muscle.

That’s right, men put on muscle and that helps them lose burn more calories. And as you already know burning calories is what it takes to lose fat. In fact, adding just one pound of muscle burns an additional 350 calories per week! Imagine what 10 extra pounds of muscle, or burning 3500 extra calories per week would do to your fat loss plan.

Now your saying, "Wow that’s great Chris but why tell me this, I’m a woman remember?"

Indeed, but if you think gaining muscle is only for the male of our specie you are ignoring a powerful tool in your Weight Loss toolbox.

Adding muscle is as simple as adding basic weight training to your workouts.

"Weights" you say, "those are for guys, and I don’t want to get all huge and buffed."

Whoa there girl, calm down.

First off it is near impossible for you to get huge and buffed. The simple fact is that your hormones are not set up to do that. Besides we're talking about toned muscles not freaky muscles.

Toned muscles are they types that give you a shapely body with solid curves and sex appeal. And that is probably the most misunderstood fact about muscles is that good looking thighs and sexy calves that look great in heals are built from pure muscle - nothing else.

So, forget your worries and pick up those weights. Besides if you are really worried about being too muscular, then gain lots of muscle to help you rapidly lose the body fat. Then when the fat is gone switch back to low intensity workouts and drop some of that muscle mass, it’s much easier to make go away than body fat.
