Weight Loss - For The Busy People

How many times have you heard the excuse "I'm just too busy, I don't have time to exercise"? I bet you've heard them numerous times already. Which, I think is a lame excuse for not exercising.

Your quest to weight loss need not take too much of your time, you just need to be a little bit creative in turning your normal routine into a fat burning exercise. Let me give you some examples.

Walking - Did you know that walking can burn 130 calories or more? So instead of just walking to your car, walk to the bus stop or all the way to your office. Doing groceries? Walk to the grocery store and just have someone pick you up when your done. Walk around the house while listening to music whenever you're not doing anything.

Cleaning - This will burn more calories since there will be more activities involved. Schedule you general cleaning once or twice a week, make changes on the arrangements of your furnitures. Clean the stairs for it will make you move back up and down, burning more calories.

Gardening - Walk around your garden everyday, water the plants, do some weeding, re-arrange your pots. This will not only burn some calories for you, it will help you relax as well.

Play tag with your kids - Run around the house with your kids or in your lawn, play tag or other physical games that kids love.

Walk your Dog - Better yet run with your dog.

These are just few of the things that people normally do that can actually help in losing weight. You just need to do more of these activities to burn more calories.

Coupled with this should be a change in your eating habits, even going to the gym will be a waste if you are not following a healthy diet. You can consult a physiologist and have him formulate a weight loss diet for you or you can visit the internet for free resources.
